RISE

Program · Capacity building

More than funding.

RISE is Pulse's accelerator for the social profit organisations we fund. The support is financial and structural: ten organisations, three years each, leadership work and peer sessions built around what each one is actually facing.

The film

A bootcamp, filmed.

Two days of the program, as they happened.

What it is

Money alone does not build a team.

Pulse funds social profit organisations structurally, over years, because stability is what lets an organisation make real progress. Funding makes that stability possible. That is one side of the math.

RISE is the other half. It runs for three years alongside the funding: ongoing accompaniment, and moments to share what works and what does not, tools, practices and strategies. It is about mindset, posture and leadership. It works on what an organisation does and what it is, and turns ten separate ones into a single peer community. All together.

How it works

Three fronts, worked at the same time.

The ecosystem

Ten organisations that each worked alone start speaking with one voice. Shared innovations, shared competences and advocacy carried together, so each of them helps change the system instead of only surviving inside it.

The leader

The people carrying these organisations are key. RISE works on their confidence, their vision and the skills the job actually needs. A journey to explore deeper and become more resilient.

The organisation

Financial sustainability, scale, visibility and the plain efficiency of how the thing is run. Resources chosen for each organisation rather than a fixed curriculum, and introductions to the people who can open doors.

Next step

RISE comes with the funding.

There is no separate application. An organisation joins RISE when Pulse funds it, through calls for projects. Follow us to know when the next call for applications opens.
