We Advocate
Where a program is not enough,we move the rules.
Entrepreneurship serves the general interest, so the rules that shape it matter to everyone. We are Belgian, private and apolitical. That is why we can make the case for better rules to government with nothing of our own to gain.
The Belgian problem
The competencies are split.
The entrepreneur is not.
In Belgium most of what shapes entrepreneurship is divided between different governments and administrations. Education sits in one place, taxation in another, innovation in a third. Each can decide well on its own and still pull in a different direction from the others.
That is the gap we work in, and we do not work it from one level. We are positioning ourselves on the map as expertise and network providers, weaving a web through administrations and cabinets, so that a federal decision and a regional one answer to the same vision.
The lever
Advocacy with proof.
We are the country's only foundation devoted entirely to entrepreneurship, and we are private and apolitical. That is why part of our mission is advocacy: we can put a case to government and to institutions with no commercial interest and no party behind it. What we argue for is systemic. A Belgium where every entrepreneur can create, innovate and grow, because that serves the common good and not only the entrepreneur.
Entrepreneurship is not one subject. It runs from education to innovation, from finding talent to taxation, and no single measure moves it. So we do not write another top-down report. We start where it actually hurts, turn that into concrete recommendations, and follow them until they land.
On this lever
Movements we steward.
Three initiatives, each with its own page. Two of them are movements rather than programs, because some gaps need more people than a program can hold.
