Play4Peace works with 16 to 28 year olds, above all those who start with the fewest doors open, and uses sport, training and mentoring to open the way to work.
Who they are
Sport, training and mentorship.
Play4Peace builds programs that strengthen young people in their personal and professional development, with a particular eye on those from less advantaged backgrounds. Its work runs under the High Patronage of the King of the Belgians.
The method mixes things that are rarely mixed. Workshops on knowing yourself, on enterprise and on communication. Activities you learn from by doing them. Sport. And one mentor per participant, who supports them, challenges them and opens a network.

Why we fund them
We fund the Academy, and the mindset it builds.
Pulse funds the development and the running of the Play4Peace Academy. It is a year in which a young person carries an entrepreneurial project of their own, with sport and mentorship all along. The project is not really the point. Raising confidence, widening horizons and the sense of being able to act on your own future are.
It works on something larger at the same time: the social and cultural barriers that quietly decide who ever pictures themselves as an entrepreneur.
What they run

Workshops and coaching
Knowing yourself, communication, speaking in public, negotiation, resilience. Led by people who do the work, not by a textbook.
Sport, and a week away
Golf, boxing or running through the year, and a week in another city at the end of it, meeting founders and startups.
