Apply, then pitch
You come in with a project and defend it in front of an admission panel. VentureLab holds several a year, so there is no single date to miss.

Entrepreneurial culture
VentureLab gives 18 to 30 year olds in the Liège and Luxembourg provinces a place to build a first company, with an experienced entrepreneur beside them.
Who they are
VentureLab was created in 2015, out of a conviction two professor-entrepreneurs shared: that society needs entrepreneurs to face the way it is changing, and that today's young people are the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. It started at the University of Liège and HEC Liège and became the shared incubator of every higher education institution around them.
There is one condition to get in: a project, and the will to work at it. Everything after that is built around the person rather than around the idea.
Why we fund them
VentureLab and StartLab.Brussels were founded a year apart and share a mission: to reveal and activate the part young entrepreneurs can play in building the world of tomorrow.
The money goes to the growth of the initiatives as a whole. From 2026 to 2028 they have one aim: to reach more young people with a project, and to make both houses sturdier through structured cooperation, better efficiency and income from more than one source.
What they run
You come in with a project and defend it in front of an admission panel. VentureLab holds several a year, so there is no single date to miss.
The support is a person, not a curriculum: someone who has built a company before, beside you for as long as the project needs it.
VentureLab is the incubator for all of higher education in Liège and Luxembourg. What you studied does not decide whether you belong there.
In their words
Doing research over the long term is so hard that I am grateful to have crossed paths with people who helped me keep going and launch my spin-off. I owe it to myself to explore my passion further, and to give back to the community what I received.
